A place to think about God-glorifying worship and God-glorifying life.
This is too funny, Joyce. I just came from Beckie's blog where she posted the news about Blagovejich's impeachment. At least somebody might benefit from his corruption:) The state of Illinois certainly hasn't.
Rose, one of my son's friends sent him this picture. It as in oneof the Chicago papers a week or so ago. We might as well laugh.
Lol! Sad, but funny too!
Joyce, I couldn't get to the blog page for the Brooklyn Tabernacle Chorus, but that was amazing! The choir alone dwarfs our entire congregation. And not a single sheet of music anywhere - with even the congregation stopping exactly on the rhythmic clapping - just amazing. I was in a 3 hour production of Handel's Messiah before Christmas, at the Mormon Chruch, that was pretty amazing. I played violin in the orchestra, and we had about a 30 person orchestra and 8 or so vocal soloists, and then the entire congregation was the choir. That was pretty fantastic too - it was my first Mormon experience (I'm a Methodist) and it was great.
JAM-LOL! Come back tomorrow and you can see it again. I was trying to schedule it to post tomorrow, and Blogger was diagreeing with me and put it up today!! I finally decided to save it as a draft and just put it up tomorrow morning on my own.I would love to do the whole Messiah with our choir. So far we've only done smippets, always finishing our Easter service with the Halleuiah Chorus. You were lucky to get to participate in the whole thing!
That is hilarious!
Very funny ad!
