Sunday Stroll-October 12, 2008

For today's stroll, I just walked up and down my block and looked for signs of Fall.

Gorgeous photos, Joyce! I can see that you are enjoying your new camera:) I noticed today how quickly the leaves have begun to turn; as much as I love spring, there is nothing that compares with the beauty of fall.

Rose, I'm with you; I just love fall. I've been keeping my camera with me all the time, and sometimes I'm just driving along and I see something I have to shoot, like those sumac leaves. It's waking me up to all the beauty that is around us all the time.

Thank you! The pictures are beautiful. I especially enjoy the first one for whatever reason. Perhaps it shows the vibrant cycle of life.

Thanks, Cindy! The first picture is of the bark on my neighbor's river birch. I always have to stop and admire it when I'm walking up the street.

Beautiful hues, Joyce! Are the pumpkins all harvested?

Yes, the pumpkins are gone. Sigh...

Joyce, I'm so late in responding to this. Has a whole week really flown by that quickly? I had the chance to stroll through your photos last Sunday, but was interrupted before commenting. Your photos are just gorgeous! I really enjoyed the way you chose to zoom in on some of the details of the season. Thank you for continuing to stroll with me! :)
