This is a beautiful park, Joyce; I don't think I've ever been here. Looks like a great place for a walk. Your photos just keep getting better and better!

This is one of those weeks where I haven't had much time for reading daily posts. I just read the rest of your week's posts and had to comment on the one about your hesitancy to be controversial. I did read your "political" post and was going to comment, but the computer I'm on wouldn't allow me to watch the video. I guessed--perhaps wrongly--what the subject matter was, though. While I may not always agree with your political stance or perhaps with some issues, Joyce, I applaud you for standing up for your convictions. You shouldn't worry about how others will take these views. You are never strident or overbearing (sorry, can't think of the right word right now) in stating your beliefs. You always come across as tolerant and compassionate, which means people will read and THINK about what you say, even if they might have different opinions.
Hope this comes across the way I meant...keep up the great work!

Rose, when I saw the compass plant, I had to take a picture of it so you could see it- it was probably nine feet tall.

Thanks for comments about the "politics" posts. I don't want people to think I'm some kind of activist, because I certainly am not. I sure didn't let the fact that there was a debate over-ride Friday night date-night with my husband! I mostly want to stick to my everyday, ordinary thoughts, but I needed to get that one out of my system.
