There is a w...I agree a million times over, Joyce. There is a way to disagree with what someone says without attacking that person, as a person. And I can't stand comedians now. Most of them are so harsh, so degrading, and the language is awful. No more Bob Newharts around, I fear. This is why I stopped watching news, and part of why we gave up the tv. My breaking point with Letterman was when he had Dennis Kucinich on, treated him as a joke, and talked incessantly about his young, beautiful wife. Honestly! Maybe it wasn't good in "the old days," in many, many ways, but can you imagine what the reporters would do to FDR these days??
